The Halcyon Road Complete Streets Plan was influenced by community input as well as existing plans, policies, and programs that support walking, biking, driving, and overall community livability. Some of these documents are specific to the City, and others are regional. This Plan will be consistent with and support these documents. The conceptual improvement plans you see below are meant to address existing conditions along Halcyon Road. The context areas were identified through a vigorous community outreach effort, and the conceptual improvements (shown below) have subsequently been presented at two public forums, where comments were received and recorded for further consideration. The goal is to ensure that identified opportunities are addressed with a program of future projects that incrementally improve safety and mobility for all users of Halcyon Road.
